The group Emergency Belluno invites the citizens to the screening of a special film that may be a bit dated, but is still very relevant today, on Wednesday, September 17, at the Library of Limana.
Tomorrow I Go Home is a documentary film from 2008 directed by Paolo Santolini and Fabrizio Lazzaretti, presented at the Venice Film Festival in 2008.
The film documents the humanitarian work of Emergency in Afghanistan and Sudan through the stories of two young patients: both, in different ways, victims of war:
Murtaza, 7 years old, injured by a 'toy bomb' and hospitalized at the Surgical Center in Kabul.
Yagoub, 15 years old, suffering from a severe heart disease, treated at the Cardiology Center in Khartoum.
The screening will be a special preview in anticipation of the new report “Long Night” focused on the current situation in Afghanistan, which will be presented in October at the Dolomiti Hub.
Following this, there will be a debate and a social moment with aperitif.
