Da Ponte Opera Festival celebrates the works of Lorenzo Da Ponte and aims to bring a world-class cultural and artistic festival to the city of Vittorio Veneto.
This year, the Festival presents “The Marriage of Figaro,” which marks the prestigious completion of the Mozart trilogy. Presented in a new full stage production at the Teatro Da Ponte, this production stands out for its high artistic profile, featuring a cast of internationally renowned professionals selected from London and Italy.
Enhancing the musical excellence of the staging will be the Venice Chamber Orchestra. The Festival is not just a performance, but a cultural mission aimed at the future.
In addition to the three official performances, there will be a full performance dedicated exclusively to students to engage the schools in the area.
To discover it, the appointment is Wednesday, September 9 at 8.00 p.m. in the picturesque setting of the Teatro Da Ponte with the first performance, followed by two repeats on Friday, September 11 and Sunday, September 13.
