The GAL Prealpi e Dolomiti, as the lead partner of the European project RuralMap — funded by the CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) program — and the EUROPE DIRECT Montagna Veneta Center invite you to participate in the international event Connecting the EU with Rural Youth, scheduled for April 8 in Sala Bianchi from 09:00 to 12:30.
The project aims to make young people from rural and peripheral areas active protagonists in European decision-making processes, at a particularly significant moment: the definition of the new EU Youth Strategy post-2027.
Partners from the Czech Republic, Finland, Slovenia, Austria, Belgium, and Romania will participate in the event. The program includes an institutional presentation by an official from the Committee of the Regions (Brussels) and an interactive workshop in the format of a European parliamentary simulation, conducted in English with all the international project partners.
The initiative is primarily aimed at classes from secondary schools in the area but is open to all young people in the area who wish to engage in discussions on real issues of European politics. A unique opportunity to connect European Union institutions with local realities, with the voices of young people at the center.
