On Friday, March 20th, the suggestive setting of the Ca’ Corniani Winery will host “From Land to Sea – Livenza, Tagliamento, and Lagoon to the Sea: water that generates territory, community, and future”, an event that combines reflection, dissemination, and solidarity.
Promoted by Lions Clubs International and organized by the Lions Club Caorle, the evening will open with a conference dedicated to the value of water as a central element for the territory, capable of shaping landscapes, economies, and local communities. Through speeches from experts and local witnesses, the topics of environmental protection, sustainability, and the relationship between rivers, lagoons, and the sea will be explored.
Among the speakers will be engineer Vania Peretto, head of Urban Planning and Ecology of the Municipality of Caorle, Irene Zambusi, local representative of Plastic Free Onlus, and sailor Riccardo Tosetto, fourth place finisher in the Global Solo Challenge. The fisherman from the lagoon, Dionisio Crosera, will also share his testimony.
At the end of the conference, the evening will continue with a charity dinner organized by the Caorle Restaurateurs Group, in a convivial moment designed to support the solidarity activities promoted by the Lions Club.
The event is also part of the initiatives dedicated to World Water Day, offering the public an opportunity to reflect on the value of water and the deep connection that unites the territory of Caorle with its rivers, lagoon, and sea.
