From July to September, the association "Il Fondaco" invites you to discover 16 places of art and culture between the historic center and the municipal territory, with free guided tours led by volunteers.
Historic Palaces
The route includes the Palazzo Pretorio (Hall of Coats of Arms), the Palazzo della Ragione (Council Hall), and the ancient Monte di Pietà, where you can admire the suggestive rooms of the pawn shop and the historic safe.
Town Churches
In the historic center, the tour will visit the Church of San Giacomo Maggiore and the Church of the Holy Trinity (Port’Oria), cherished for its 15th-century frescoes. The tour includes the Baptistery and the Cathedral of San Pietro (with the crypt). New additions include the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli (with works by Jacopo Bassano), the Church of San Luigi Gonzaga (by Giuseppe Segusini), and the Church of San Rocco and Sebastiano, which frames the perspective of Piazza Maggiore.
Churches in the Territory
Outside the walls, a must-stop is the Sanctuary of Saints Martyrs Vittore and Corona in Anzù (Minor Basilica), home to millennial frescoes.
Following are the churches in the area: San Paolo (under renovation), San Benedetto in Celarda (near Vincheto), San Marcello in Umin (with ancient frescoes), and San Fermo in Villaga, recently restored.
An unmissable opportunity to rediscover the local artistic and spiritual heritage. We look forward to guiding you through history and beauty.
