International Street Art Festival
Caorle Sea Festival is an explosion of colors: from May 23 to June 7, prominent artists will create murals on buildings in the Caorle area, transforming fantasy and color into an open-air exhibition.
The initiative, now in its third edition, will see 17 street artists engaged in painting about twenty large-scale works on walls provided by public and private entities in the Caorle area. The involved artists will interpret the theme “Sea, fishing, and traditions” according to their own sensibilities, and include established names in the Italian and international scene: Alessio-B (Italy), Anna Conda (France), Any (Italy), Bagdad (France), C0110 (Italy), Daco (France), David Karsenty (France), Giulio Masieri (Italy), JDL (Netherlands), Man-X (France), Medianeras (Spain), Mrfijodor (Italy), Fortunes (France), Mura (Brazil), Shife (Italy), Tony Gallo (Italy), Vincent Gibeaux (France).
In the first two editions, the festival has already led to the creation of about thirty large mural works spread throughout the municipality, contributing to transforming Caorle into a true open-air museum. With the planned interventions in 2026, the festival's artistic heritage will reach a total of about fifty painted walls, further consolidating a path of widespread art that in recent years has become an integral part of Caorle's contemporary identity and a new tourist attraction able to draw street art enthusiasts year-round.
Caorle Sea Festival is an event promoted by the Municipality of Caorle, curated by gallerist Carlo Silvestrin of the CD Studio d’Arte in Padua. The event is sponsored by the Veneto Region and the Metropolitan City of Venice.
THE LOCATIONS – During the Caorle Sea Festival, street artists will be engaged in eighteen different locations within the municipal territory of Caorle.
One of the central hubs of the festival will once again be the via del Rombo area, already a protagonist in previous editions of the urban regeneration project through street art. Here, six international artists will intervene: the French Bagdad, David Karsenty, Fortunes, Man-X and Vincent Gibeaux, the Turin-based Mrfijodor and the Padua-based C0110.
On the front of hospitality and tourism structures, the festival will once again involve some symbolic realities of the city's hospitality. At the Hotel Splendid, the Spanish duo Medianeras will work, while the Hotel Venus will host an intervention by the French artist Daco. The Centro Vacanze Pra’ delle Torri will instead be the stage for two distinct interventions entrusted to the Padua-based Alessio-B and Tony Gallo. The Padua-based Shife will work on a private residence in via Nicesolo.
Among the public spaces involved, the Caorle Civic Library stands out, where the Ferrara-based artist Giulio Masieri will be at work, while the French Anna Conda will return to the city to transform the underpass of the Santa Margherita playground.
The 2026 edition will also expand its reach to other local realities: the Portuguese artist Mura will intervene on the surface of the Alìper Supermarket on Viale degli Aironi, the Padua-based Any About New York will be featured at Casa Voga Caorle and the French Bagdad will create a work in the spaces of Caorle Tennis.
Completing the route is a new large facade of public residential building ATER on Via Riva del Varoggio, which will be entrusted to the Dutch artist JDL, among the most anticipated international names of this edition, and a work by Any About New York on the tower of the National Association of Italian Sailors.
PHOTOGRAPHIC CONTEST IG – Following the great success during the second edition, the photographic contest returns for the 2026 edition, inviting those passing through Caorle to photograph the works of street artists. Participation is simple: from May 23 to September 30, 2026, it’s enough to take a photo in front of one of the works of the Caorle Sea Festival and interpret it in your own style, then publish it on Instagram with the #mycaorleseafestival.
A jury will select the most original photos and reward them with many surprises themed around Street Art. The profiles of the winners will be communicated through the festival's social pages (FB: @caorleseafestival | IG: @caorle_sea_festival) and on the site www.caorleseafestival.it
