The Caorle Independent Film Festival (CIFF), now in its seventh edition, is a cultural event held annually in the beautiful city of Caorle.
The Festival was born from the desire of the Caorle Film Cultural Association to enhance that niche of artists who create and produce their works without the help of a large production company: independent cinema.
The 75 selected works (out of almost 150 nominations), divided between feature films, short films, documentaries, web series, pilot episodes and animated films, will be screened in the rooms of the Andrea Bafile Cultural Center, in the historic center of Caorle, specially transformed into screening rooms.
This year's selection consists of a range of independent films from different parts of the world that tell the story of contemporary society, offering the public the opportunity to reflect on important social issues and discover exciting stories from different cultures and ethnic groups, ranging from comedy to drama, from fantasy to thriller, exploring a variety of genres, styles and narratives.
CIFF is structured in such a way as to always put all the competing participants first in a festival environment with an international flavour. Even the visitors themselves, in addition to being able to attend all the screenings for free, become an integral part of the festival by actively participating in the collateral activities.
