A panoramic route through the mountains and the trails that bear witness to the Resistance and Liberation.
We will walk along the ridge of the Prealps, among the woods of Monte Frontal and Col de le Zercole, until we reach the wide open spaces of Pian de Le Femene, where the monument to the women of the Resistance is also located. We will accompany you on a circular route, through enchanting mountain landscapes and testimonies from the past.
Also joining us is the author Laura Cappellazzo, who during the day will share some stories from her novel: “The Wildflower Brigade,” set in these very places.
Laura and the heroines of the novel, women of the Venetian resistance who actually existed, will guide us along the route, telling us their stories. “We, the Wildflowers, want to tell you a different story. A story that happened among the mountains you see around you. From that spontaneous and resilient grass, we are the flowers. The humble ones you find in the meadows. Those that grow by themselves, without needing anyone to plant them. Because we are carried by the wind of life. And, wherever we fall, we sprout and bring beauty. And we bring color.”

MEETING: 9:20 am in Borgo Valbelluna (BL), the exact location will be communicated to participants.
DURATION: Approximately 6 hours (including a break for a packed lunch and stops along the way)
Elevation gain: about 500 meters. Length: about 10 km.
COSTS: 20 euros for adults, 10 euros for children and young people up to 17 (not suitable for children under 10 years old).
The fee includes the accompaniment by a certified Environmental Hiking Guide.
