The workshop is designed as an open space for discussion, observation, and artistic development around social realities and personal experiences. Through conversations, collective reflections, and a close reading of some works present in the artist's exhibition at the museum, participants will explore how social tensions, local conditions, memories, and everyday situations can be transformed into artistic ideas and visual forms.
Using some works from the exhibition as case studies, the workshop will analyze different artistic strategies for addressing social themes through contemporary artistic practices. Participants will be encouraged to identify emerging themes from their own lives and the surrounding context, whether intimate, political, cultural, or related to the territory, gradually developing them into artistic proposals or works.
The workshop is aimed at adults and will combine dialogue, research, conceptual development, and practical experimentation. Attention will also be given to possible ways of presenting, exhibiting, or sharing the works created.
Specifically, the workshop is aimed at painters, sculptors, photographers, performers, sculptors, videomakers, actors, craftsmen, poets, musicians, anyone who wants to engage by creating an artistic product starting from an idea or emotion. However, it is required that participants be of legal age.
No materials are required. Everyone is free to bring materials they usually use to express themselves artistically: sheets, colors, poor materials, skeins of wool, frames, sheets, old fabrics, scraps, newspaper, cameras, jewelry-making materials. Natural materials and objects found in the territory will be used, so it is not necessary to bring anything special.
