For one night, the walls of Zumelle Castle will echo with the songs and screams of the Northern warriors! You will be welcomed in the Great Hall of the Jarl, the longhouse where the whole village of Sǫmellheim gathers.
It is the eve of the preparations for a great expedition, but before sailing West to raid the lands of England and France, the people and the great houses gather around their lord for a propitiatory feast, made of rituals, songs, and challenges.
You will not be mere spectators but part of the story: the Jarl will call you to toast, the bards will draw you into the songs of the sagas, and the seer will read the signs of destiny.
This dinner is not just a meal: it is a rite of union, a propitiatory feast before war.
During the dinner, you will not only taste the dishes of the Northern warriors, but you will also experience a complete journey with bards and Viking music accompanying the banquet with epic songs and northern melodies, reading of the Runes and bones: discover if the gods will grant you glory or misfortune in the upcoming raids, tavern games to test your luck and cunning, the Box Game – Jomswikinger: challenge anyone, blindfolded, in a duel of honor and strength! Prize for the best Viking or fantasy costume: embody the spirit of the Northern warriors and a prize for the best player.
