The show retraces the biography of Alberto Manzi, alternating fragments of life with "romanticized" passages, telling us about his human and professional journey from the beginnings as a teacher in the minor juvenile prison Aristide Gabelli in Rome to the 1960s with adult education on TV in the famous program “It’s Never Too Late,” and further in the 1970s in South America with the Indigenous people, and his more recent commitment to immigrants.
All experiences driven by the belief that literacy means emancipation, an expression of a future that includes, that puts the talents of its citizens to good use, respecting their rights and duties.
