After 24 years since the last presence of the Deputation in the city, on Sunday, April 19, from 11:00 to 13:00, the Spring Meeting of the Deputation of Patriotic History for the Venezie will take place at the Sala Bianchi in Belluno.
Interventions are scheduled from:
- prof. Donato Gallo (formerly University of Padua): New Light on the Charterhouse of Vedana and its History
- prof. Claudio Griggio (formerly University of Udine) and Dr. Giulia Simeoni (University of Campania "L. Vanvitelli"): Presentation of the volume Illuminated Fragments of the Charterhouse of S. Marco of Vedana at the State Archive of Venice (now at the State Archive of Belluno) by Lucilla Sandra Magoga, Plures aliae cartae librorum disquarternatae.
- prof. Antonio Lazzarini (formerly University of Padua): The Softwoods of Cadore for the Arsenal of Venice
- Arch. Andrea Bona (Deputazione di Storia Patria per le Venezie): The Infrastructures for Timber Trade in Fonzaso in an Unpublished Map of Pedesalto from the Late 18th Century
The interventions presented during the meeting are of significant interest for the culture and history of the territory, thus the meeting is open to the public and the community is invited.
