On Sunday, June 21, the 79th Giro del Piave - Memorial Piergiorgio Sbardella and Mario De Bon, will take place with a route of 137 kilometers that will take the riders from Belluno to the spectacular setting of Val Visdende. A race rich in tradition that crosses some of the most fascinating areas of the province of Belluno, alternating fast and undulating sections with an increasingly challenging course as the kilometers go by. After an initial part characterized by the roads of the Piave valley, the race will progressively enter the heart of the Dolomites, facing a series of decisive climbs that will select the protagonists of the day. The roughness of the Cadore and Comelico, combined with the final ascent towards Val Visdende, will provide the ideal terrain for climbers and promise an intense challenge right up to the finish, immersed in one of the most evocative natural landscapes of the entire alpine range.
