Friday, July 3 at 8.30 p.m. there will be a conference to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Alta Via n. 1. The CAI Section of Belluno proposes an evening dedicated to an undertaking that has made history for this iconic Dolomitic route. In July 2005, Arturo Giozzet, Giuseppe Menardi and Rinaldo Ottone completed the entire Alta Via n. 1 in one go, without stops, in less than 24 hours.
Arturo Giozzet and Giuseppe Menardi will recount this extraordinary experience through memories, anecdotes, and images, taking the audience on a journey of preparation, effort, and passion for the mountains. The evening will be enriched by the screening of a video lasting about 45 minutes dedicated to this memorable traverse of the Dolomites.
It will be held at the Parish Hall of Cavarzano (Belluno), entrance is free.
