Conference dedicated to the art of fresco, to be held on June 20 and 21, 2026.
The event will also be accessible remotely via streaming, webcast, and webinar.
The program will explore setting techniques, the history of fresco, and the future applications of artificial intelligence in the field.
Below is the detailed program of the event:
Saturday, June 20, 2026
4:00 p.m.: Guided tour of the Diocesan Museum of Belluno-Feltre (reservation required);
6:00 p.m.: Opening of the proceedings by Arch. Tiziano Sartor, President of the Cultural Association for Fresco, with the screening of a technical video;
7:00 p.m.: Presentation by art historian Tiziana Casagrande on the frescoes in Feltre;
8:00 p.m.: Social dinner at the sanctuary cafeteria (reservation required);
Sunday, June 21, 2026
9:00 a.m. Assembly of Members of the Cultural Association for Fresco and Holy Mass at the Minor Basilica of the Sanctuary;
11:00 a.m.: Presentation by Maestro Vico Calabrò, "The Breath of the Fresco" and interventions by Bernardo Molinas Agnellini "From Tiepolo to Argentina" and "Dialogue with the Wall" by Alessandro Lazzer;
12:00 p.m. Lunch break at the sanctuary cafeteria;
2:00 p.m. Presentation by Renzo Barbazza (President AP&M) on the history of fresco;
2:30 p.m. Presentation by Andrea Toffoli on Pigments and Silence;
3:00 p.m. Presentation by Giovanni Sogne on Color, Time, and the Wall;
3:30 p.m. Round table, conclusion, and final greetings, with moderator Gianvittore Vaccari.
It is specified that there are 27 rooms available with bathrooms at the Sanctuary, including 7 doubles.
Reservations for overnight stays, including meals and accommodation, must be made by Monday, June 8.
As for lunch or dinner only, the deadline for reservations is set for Monday, June 15.
