Villa Marcello del Majno

Villa Marcello Marinelli, an ancient Venetian villa of the Venetian doges "Marcello", is located in the ancient village of Cison di Valmarino along the famous gastronomic route known as the Prosecco Road. The central hall is enriched by ancient Venetian-style flooring, ceilings with decorated wooden beams, stone showcases at the entrances to the hall, and 16th-century frescoes on the walls depicting bucolic scenes, framed by painted architectural elements: Corinthian columns ideally supported by a high base with geometric motifs and above a cornice with a decorated frieze. The complex, likely of medieval origin but subject to numerous interventions in later periods, is now an elegant hotel and restaurant that hosts events and conferences.
