Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Jesolo
The Civic Museum of Natural History houses approximately 15,000 specimens that represent the most significant fauna of the European and Palearctic regions. The Civic Museum of Jesolo has the most important collection in Europe of life-sized models of extinct animals. From the primordial forms of life to the large dinosaurs of the Jurassic period, to the animals that became extinct in the last glacial eras of the Pleistocene, not forgetting those species that disappeared in the last two centuries, such as the Dodo, the Great Auk, the Moa, etc.
