The Agricultural Company InFiore of Sandro Stragà is located in Plois, a small rural village in the Alpago situated at almost 1,000 meters of altitude, on the slopes of Monte Dolada. Founded in 2017, the company is dedicated to the cultivation of medicinal plants such as calendula, echinacea, chamomile, arnica, cornflower, and St. John's wort.
The crops are developed on mountainous lands of the Alpago and the high Val Belluna, particularly exposed to the sun and characterized by the temperature fluctuations typical of the alpine environment. InFiore adopts environmentally friendly cultivation methods, using substances of natural origin and avoiding chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. The collection of flowers is also carried out with attention to safeguarding the plants and the ecosystem of the meadows.
From the medicinal plants cultivated by the company, precious extracts are obtained for the creation of natural products and phytocosmetics dedicated to daily personal care. A small agricultural reality that combines the resources of the Belluno mountains, respect for the environment, and the enhancement of the properties of medicinal plants.
