The history of CastelBrando Princess Spa is deeply intertwined with the ancient past, benefiting from the crystal-clear waters of three springs that were conveyed to the castle via an ancient Roman aqueduct.
These springs originate at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level and travel about five kilometers before reaching the castle.
During archaeological excavations in the area, an ancient Roman bath was discovered, complete with a hypocaust heating system under the floor.
Thanks to the approval of the Superintendency, this precious discovery has been beautifully restored and today constitutes the centerpiece of the Princess Spa.
