In an elevated position, CastelBrando presents itself as a medieval village immersed in nature. The structure dates back to Roman times as a defense of the Imperial Claudia Augusta road. Later, it became the residence of the Da Camino lords before passing to the Most Serene Republic of Venice. With the Brandolini family, the castle was expanded with interventions entrusted to local architects, until, in 1959, it was sold to the Salesian Fathers who used it as a center for spiritual studies. Since 2002, after a substantial restoration, it now houses a refined 4-star hotel with restaurants, bars, a wellness center, and a conference center.
