Villa Cavarzerani is a Venetian villa located in the countryside at the border between the provinces of Treviso and Pordenone, a short distance from both the Adriatic seaside resorts and the Dolomites. The residence dates back to the 15th century, when it was built as a hunting lodge by the Counts of Porcia and Brugnera, and was subsequently expanded in the 18th century. Historical documents and testimonials indicate the past presence of Napoleon I and General Radetzky.
The current villa consists of a central body with a pediment and two lateral wings. Inside, the central hall, frescoed with soft neoclassical decorations, distributes the main rooms and a wide staircase also decorated with pilasters and frescoes. The western wing is now reserved for guests who wish to spend a stay in the villa, while the eastern wing, separated from the central hall, is the residence of the Cavarzerani family.
The villa is surrounded by a large garden and includes a small private chapel with a pedimented facade, which houses a 19th-century image of the Madonna of the Immaculate Conception, where it is possible to celebrate religious ceremonies.
