The Fish Market
In the past the local people have always lived on fishing, an activity that is still practiced nowadays.
The port is one of the most picturesque places of Caorle; here are moored the fishing-boats (actually around one hundred units); during the day it is possible to see the fishermen come back and unload their fish, ready to be sold at the Fish Market, in Riva delle Caorline, where the traditional “ear” auction takes place.
