Dog sledding for beginners and experts. Beginners can try the "Baptism of sled dog", the thrill of personally driving a sled pulled by one or two dogs, depending on age. The course winds between Pian Osteria and Campon, in a loop of a couple of kilometers, first uphill and then downhill. Experts can challenge themselves with their own dogs and equipment on the 12km loop between Pian Osteria, Campon, Pian Rossa, and Pian Canaie. During the Christmas holidays, there are also midweek activities, while afterwards it continues only on Sundays, upon request on other days as well.
The Italian Sleddog School Cansiglio was founded in 2008 by Azzalini Mario Musher, instructor and race judge.
Years of experience, a passion for dogs and sports have made his dream come true, thanks also to the help of a team that follows and supports him in the events and initiatives related to SledDog.
The school is located in Pian Cansiglio in the fantastic setting of the Cansiglio forest.
