In this itinerary, we recommend starting from the stone village of Funes, a now depopulated hamlet.
From this point, take the steep uphill path that leads out of the village to Noal, where you can detour to see one of the largest alders in Italy (a type of plant in the Betulaceae family). Continue straight at the fork and then take the left path after passing the aqueduct basin, emerging from a larch forest in the Saline area.
Ascend further until you reach the edge of the impressive landslide of ancient origins, which is still ongoing; climbing to the fork for Roncadin, continue left to the diversion for Degnona and descend towards Col Martino, passing by a deer farm. Finally, from the village, take the main road, and on the right, divert along the road that passes over the body of the landslide, leading back to Funes, the starting point.
