Sentiero della Sensibilità

Along the 24 km that wind at the base of the main mountain ranges of the Alpago basin, sections of ascent and descent alternate, rarely exceeding 300 m of elevation difference, making it effectively a hiking trail suitable for everyone.

Partly unpaved and partly asphalted, this foothill trail follows sections of a scenic road built in the 1960s with the intention of enhancing the tourist value of the highlands of Alpago, which still preserve the historical evidence of a remote and recent past, projected towards a future capable of welcoming a tourism sensitive to the values of nature, tranquility, and simplicity.
Covering a long stretch, the "Path of Sensitivity" ideally connects the three municipalities of Alpago (Alpago, Chies d’Alpago, and Tambre) and has been created with great attention to the territory. The endpoints are, on one side, the locality of Carota, just above Pieve d’Alpago, and on the other side, the hamlet of Sant’Anna di Tambre. The trail features several crossing points with the roadways that ascend from the valley, making it always accessible. San Martino d’Alpago, Degnona, Funes, Cruden, Pian Formosa, Casera Pal, and Pianon are the intermediate access points to the trail, allowing visitors to experience this adventure in multiple stages, fully enjoying the tranquility and charm of these places.
Specifically, the "Path of Sensitivity" has two sections where wheelchair access for disabled persons is possible: the first from Carota to San Martino and the second from Malga Cate to Pianon.

The hiking experience can also be enhanced through the PATH OF SENSITIVITY APP, which, once downloaded for free, will automatically activate near points of interest, sharing descriptive audio tracks, photos, and videos that will broaden the hiker's experience by providing an intriguing interpretation of the cultural, natural, and scenic aspects of this land.
