This is a historical-natural path that can start from the center of Farra d'Alpago or, as we recommend, directly from the shores of Lake Santa Croce, in front of the campsite.
It starts precisely from the path that runs alongside the lake until reaching Poiatte, from where the ascent begins to reach the communal road to Mezzomiglio. Surrounded by a beautiful variety of vegetation, you take the turn at the fork towards Madonna del Runal where there is a small church, a well-known center of Marian veneration recognized even outside the Alpago borders. Upon reaching the church, which was built following a deeply felt popular legend, you take the descending path that quickly leads to the gorges of Vallon Runal and Vallon di Spert, where the two ancient bridges known as 'Roman' can be found. Coming out just below Tomas, an abandoned hamlet, you take the left path that leads to the Runal stream and to Buscole.
The return concludes along the main road.
