Sentiero 2313 - Anello di Col de Moi

Leave your car in the large parking lot of Zelant at an altitude of 800m above sea level and walk along the road that soon transforms into a path. Traveling through the suggestive Val di Caosa immerses you in a wild and almost mystical atmosphere.

Continue climbing along the wide road of Sort Frede through the beech and conifer forests. The path passes by Col di Zoc below the locality of Napoli, and by following the lower section of Col de Moi, you reach the paved road to Praderadego.

At the top of the pass, from the square, ascend along the steep road that leads you to the summit of the highest mountain in the area. The scenic views become more frequent, from the abandoned Casere Guarnieri to the panoramas that suddenly open up onto the Veneto plain. Keep climbing and the view extends over Valbelluna. The steep climb to the summit is rewarded with a stunning 360° view.

From here, you can see the Istrian promontory, the sea with the ships in the Adriatic and on clearer days, in the distance, the Apennines appear. Behind you are all the highest and most famous peaks of the Dolomites. Descend along the steep grassy slope to forcella Foran and stop once more to observe the spectacle before you. At the Vallon Scur shepherd's hut, you can take a break and camp if necessary before returning to your car. A nice variant takes you to the lower part of Col de Moi towards Zoc and Napoli with beautiful glimpses of the forest over Valbelluna.
