Sentiero 2310 - anello di Praderadego

The ring that leads you to the iconic Olt de Val d’Arc.

After parking your car at the beautiful Praderadego Pass, venture into the woods along the  Wild Blueberry Trail. Once you reach the crest of Canidi, the view opens up, allowing you to take in the ridges all the way to Posa Puner and Malga Garda, and further on to Monte Tomatico, which overlooks Feltre, and the Grappa massif.

Continue along the ridge road amidst the green and lush pastures while looking out at the distant Feltrine Peaks.

The sharp detour to the right that descends steeply to Boz lets you observe the Belluno valley from a different perspective, with the Dolomites on the horizon stretching your gaze all the way to Belluno. A small stop at Boz, and then proceed down the path that leads to Val d’Arc, where the trail rises steeply through the woods.

It's worth tackling the ascent; the Olt de Val d’Arc, a huge limestone arch marking the border between the former municipality of Mel and that of Miane, is waiting for your selfie. Ascend the steep slope through the beautiful beech forest until you return to the ridge road, which you will travel in the opposite direction to return to Malga Canidi and then again along the Wild Blueberry Trail back to the Praderadego parking lot.

To shorten the route a bit, you can also park at Malga Canidi, where in summer you can stop to taste the delicious cheeses of the dairy, or alternatively, you can try approaching from the side of the  Rifugio Osteria Boz.
