In the heart of Comelico, between the Belluno Dolomites, South Tyrol, Austria, and Friuli, lies the De Doo refuge, a cozy “Green” structure where nature, comfort, and sustainability meet. Built with local timber, the refuge uses renewable energy thanks to solar panels, a wood boiler, rainwater recovery, and low-energy lighting. Every detail is designed with respect for the environment, from eco-sustainable finishes to high-quality wood fiber bedding. The rooms, equipped with free Wi-Fi, offer private terraces with independent access from which to admire spectacular views of the Dolomites and unforgettable starry skies. The kitchen enhances the territory with zero-kilometer ingredients, cheeses, cold cuts, and meats from local producers, along with homemade first courses. An authentic place to experience sustainable mountain living, immersed in the beauty and tradition of Comelico.
