The bar “Osteria Ponte Serra” is located within a historic building from 1860 featuring typically Dolomitic architecture, which until the late 1970s housed not only a bar but also a hotel and a restaurant.
The entire structure, situated on the regional road 50 of Grappa and Passo Rolle, is located in front of the spectacular waterfalls of the conduits of the Pedesalto power plant in Fonzaso, and has always been a popular stop and refreshment point for those passing through to reach Lamon, Primiero, Feltre, and all the surrounding mountain villages.
Thanks to its strategic location, the presence of a large parking area, and a park-terrace that hosts various initiatives throughout the year, the bar attracts both passersby and regular customers from the entire area. During the summer, a kiosk featuring artisanal ice cream, a pizzeria with outdoor tables, and a relaxation area are also opened within the park.
Today, the tavern is managed by Debora and Davide, who acquired ownership of the entire structure in 2017. The restaurant has been completely renovated and reopened in 2018 after 40 years of closure.
The bar is open every day, starting from 5:30 AM.
Vibrant and informal, it offers service from breakfast to aperitif to after dinner. Inside the bar, there is a space dedicated to the exhibition of typical products available for sale, sourced from local businesses.
