Oratorio di Sant'Antonio Abate

Just south of the village of Falzè di Piave lies the hamlet of Chiesuola, gathered around the ancient oratory of Saint Anthony the Abbot.
Inside, a reredos dated 1649 hosts a detached fresco depicting the Madonna and Child enthroned from the second half of the 15th century, attributed to the workshop of Giovanni di Francia (Metz 1420 - Conegliano ca. 1490).
On the right side, another vibrant devotional fresco from the same period can be seen, featuring the Madonna and Child enthroned between Saints Roch and Sebastian, the work of an unknown local painter close to the productions of the Belluno and Feltre areas.
