In one corner, the charming fireplace warms the dining room: on winter days when the temperatures in Pian Cansiglio drop below zero, the Locanda Al Capriolo has offered a great refuge since the distant 1800s, when it was the "inn" of the Cimbri. The dining room, with around thirty seats, serves simple yet delicate Veneto dishes, ranging from tagliatelle with venison (the inn's specialty) to "Pastin" (a typical dish from Belluno made with coarsely minced pork and beef, similar to sausage, salted and seasoned), or venison with polenta and mushrooms, cooked cheese, or more, finishing with homemade desserts. In a corner of the inn, you can purchase typical products from Cansiglio; just ask the Host!
The inn also offers overnight stays in simple yet comfortable rooms.
