Near Valmorel, in the municipality of Borgo Valbelluna, the agriturismo Le Zercole is located. The business was founded in 2008 by a family that has been dedicated for years to the study and cultivation of medicinal herbs in Valbelluna. The name comes from Col de le Zercole, the mountain that dominates the surrounding area.
Surrounded by nature, the agriturismo combines agricultural activities, cooking and hospitality in a tranquil and well-kept environment. The interior spaces evoke traditional rural architecture and welcome guests in a simple and comfortable setting. The structure also adopts sustainable energy solutions, including the use of solar panels.
The farm cultivates and transforms over 200 varieties of aromatic and medicinal plants, which are used to make herbal teas, jams, syrups, dressings, and other artisanal products. At the heart of its activities is the herb-based cuisine, a gastronomic proposal that enhances the flavors of the area through the use of wild and cultivated flowers and plants.
The fields, cultivated without forced irrigation, host numerous varieties of medicinal plants. Along the paths, descriptive signs illustrate their characteristics.
The agriturismo is open all year round with seasonal hours. It offers the chance to have lunch, dinner, or stay in rooms immersed in the silence of the countryside.
The farm also conducts educational farm activities aimed at children and adults, offering workshops focused on herbs and visits to the animals present. An experience that allows one to get closer to the territory, its traditions, and the rural world.
