Lattebusche is a cooperative that since 1954 gives value to the milk of the territory and the typical products obtained from it, in a perspective of sustainability and social responsibility.
It is located in Busche, in the Belluno area, an unspoilt area rich in pastures at the foot of the Dolomites with a long tradition in livestock breeding.
The tradition of dairy cattle breeding was imposed during the decline of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, as the most valid and natural productive alternative for the fragile rural economy of our territory.
During those difficult years in every small town of our mountain the idea of grouping the small local farmers in order to work the milk "in turn" at a single "toll". This contributed to the birth of local dairy traditions. With the passage of time, especially in the postwar period, in correspondence with the socio-economic developments of the period, many of these small realities entered into crisis and were destined to close. In other cases, the local farmers reacted and, once again associating, extended the social base of the cooperative, creating larger cooperative dairies.
In 1954, on the initiative of 36 founding members, the Cooperative Dairy of the Feltrina Valley was founded in Busche. Today better known as Lattebusche.
The transition from a small local company to a real productive and commercial reality has been the result of numerous choices and continuous evolutions.
In particular, the ability to capture the tastes of a consumer particularly attentive to the quality of the product, the freshness of the typical flavors linked to local tradition and the safety that a large production company can offer, has allowed it to grow to become the company it is today.
