In the Lamar area of the Cansiglio Forest, a village of typical houses once used by charcoal burners and the “Pojat,” the traditional mounds of wood, leaves, and earth necessary for charcoal production, has been permanently reconstructed. The park is interesting as it recalls the hard work that represented an important survival opportunity for the families of the village. You can see the "casòn" where the charcoal burner and his family lived during the charcoal production period and the Charcoal Museum, which displays ancient tools and period objects. The area is always open for visits.
