The Tourist Information and Reception Office of Belluno awaits you in Piazza Duomo (at the entrance of the Lambioi escalators), right in the heart of the historic center. An office recognized by the Veneto Region, it is the reference point for tourists and citizens and will welcome you to the wonderful provincial capital, at the foot of the Belluno Dolomites.
Here we can help you identify the most useful information for you, to organize your vacation, and more, through the distribution of guides, tourist maps, informative brochures, and news about events taking place in the area, accommodations, as well as tourist and nature guides.
At the IAT office, it will also be possible to get information on the routes and tourist and nature itineraries of Valbelluna and the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, both for trekking lovers and for bikers. You can also find information on departure and arrival times and connections for transportation to assist you in your travels within the Province.
For high mountain lovers, there is the opportunity to register or renew the subscription to CAI (Belluno Section) and Dolomiti Emergency to experience an adventure in complete safety.
HIGH ROUTE N.1
Belluno is the endpoint of the High Route n. 1 of the Dolomites, one of the most famous hiking routes in the Alpine arch. The route starts from Lake Braies and crosses some of the most iconic landscapes of the Dolomites, concluding in the historic center of Belluno.
At the Tourism Office, hikers who have completed the itinerary from Lake Braies to at least the Sommariva Refuge at Pramperet can receive the official badge of the High Route n. 1 for free, by showing the stamps collected at the refuges along the route or, alternatively, some photographs documenting the journey. It is also possible to leave a dedication and sign the Book of the High Route n. 1, becoming part of the history of this extraordinary itinerary.
The office is easily reachable on foot from the train and bus station, which is just a few minutes away. For those arriving by car, it is recommended to park at Lambioi: the parking area is directly connected to Piazza Duomo by escalators, and the tourist office is located right at the top, at the entrance.
