Natural cavity in the hillside sloping down towards the Piave River, in the beautiful Pedrè Park, is dedicated to those who lost their lives at work.
This cave indeed contrasted with the entrances of the underground tunnels where miners descended.
It is dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners and demolition experts. Fragments of marble on the vault of the cave bear the names of those who lost their lives at work.
