The sun-drenched wall above the village of Socchèr offers just over twenty very technical routes of moderately high difficulty, featuring sections of overhangs alternating with slabs and walls. The rock is not always perfectly clean, and the routes have old bolts that still appear to be in good condition. The site is perfect for the winter months.
Access: Reach the village of Socchèr by entering the narrow streets of the historic center. Follow the signs that indicate the ruins of the San Giorgio castle. Then proceed uphill until you reach the clearing with parking in front of the ruins. Leave the car and continue on foot, ascending the wide clearing in front of the parking lot; to the left of the clearing, at the edge of the forest and in front of two large boulders, our path will begin, the Fortini path. Follow the main trail until you find an obvious gap in the stone wall on the right, then turn right. Continuing along the path, you will soon reach the climbing cliff.
