The hike begins at Piazza Gallina, in the Ceneda area, proceeding along Via Monetebello and crossing an old village, which takes its name from the presence of the ancient Wallia or Wadia tower. After a short stretch, the incline begins, and after passing the Case Doro, you reach the village of S. Antonio alle Perdonanze. Before arriving in the area of Perdonanze, on the left along the road, you can see the trench of Perdonanze, an observation post built by the Austro-Hungarian army in 1918. The trench, a few meters long, is lined with wooden planks and has been restored by the Alpine choir Ana of Vittorio Veneto. From here, you can reach Pian delle Perdonanze, where the chapel of the Madonna di Loreto alle Perdonanze stands. The name Perdonanze suggests that at one time the chapel, a destination for frequent pilgrimages, was linked to the granting of indulgences. The 3 km path is also suitable for mountain biking.
