Dal Selvaggio

On the hills of Vittorio Veneto, in a panoramic location, just a few steps from the astronomical observatory, the Dal Selvaggio tavern with kitchen has been converted from a recently renovated farmhouse. Inaugurated back in 1979 by father Rino Bruni as a traditional tavern, Dal Selvaggio has been renewed by his son Renzo, who has managed it since 2002, continuing the tradition that is present and alive in the walls of the establishment that recall the old arts and crafts with the tools of grandfather Luigi, a blacksmith and farrier. The served dishes are typical local specialties made strictly in-house: special polenta made with flours ground with a stone mill, first courses with homemade pasta, ravioli, game dishes, deer, wild boar, grilled wood-fired meat, suckling pig skewered in the Sardinian style, ribs and fillets of local national meat, veal knuckles with beer sauce, homemade desserts and characteristic grappas with forest fruits, gentian, rue, currants.
