The course, over the 16 hours planned, aims to:
- provide basic knowledge about wood carving techniques;
- give information on work equipment and safety measures;
- allow participants to experience firsthand through practical exercises.
The lessons are practical-experiential: each participant will have a workstation and the necessary equipment to apply the knowledge provided and wood boards to carry out the educational exercises.
The course aims to be a tool to bring participants closer to woodworking, a noble material with an ancient tradition. The course is designed for beginners.
At the end of the course, a certificate of participation will be issued.
Teaching will be provided by Maestro Gianluca De Nard – an emerging sculptor from Belluno, teacher and lab technician at the School of Wood.
