For those who wish to shorten the route, it is possible to drive to the Malga, where there are reserved parking spots for disabled individuals.
From here, continue along the paved road, venturing into a characteristic beech forest. You emerge in the pastures at Pian delle Lastre, past a first malga, and on the left are the signs for the Rifugio Semenza. You continue on the paved road until a second malga after another kilometer. From here, the view spans the entire valley of Alpago, from the Cansiglio forest on the left to Lake Santa Croce. The return is along the same road.
