The parish priest Don Angelo Piai, involving both noble and wealthy individuals (Count Rambaldo di Collalto, the famous opera singer Toti del Monte, the mayor Marco Breda, entrepreneurs Ugo Baseggio, Pietro Dal Vera, Antonio Masutti, lawyer Antonio Bernardi, and the heads of families from the fractions) as well as ordinary people, manages to have a small church dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes built.
It was inaugurated on October 21, 1934, by Bishop Eugenio Beccegato. Behind the altar opens an artistic grotto with images of the Virgin and Bernadette, while on the back wall stands a painting featuring Saint Michael piercing the devil, a legacy of the long-standing and prestigious devotion to the figure of the archangel.
