Today the Polo has a heritage of over 120,000 volumes from the Civic Library and 18,800 from the CMF Library, all in the current open shelf part.
HISTORIC SECTION
The historical section, detached headquarters at Palazzo Borgasio consists of about 31,000 units: 10,050 brochures, 7030 volumes, 58 periodicals, 520 manuscripts in volume and a number quantifiable in about 13,500 units of letters, notes, pages scattered and verse manuscripts.
The printed editions of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries were first the subject of two publications edited by the Civic Library: “Le cinquecentine del fondo storico della biblioteca civica di Feltre” and “Le edizioni del Seicento del fondo storico” and later inserted together in the collective catalogue of libraries participating in the Service National Librarian, or to the network of Italian libraries at www.sbn.it.
The search of all the ancient volumes is carried out through the printed and present catalogues in the Library.
MODERN SECTION
In the former Napoleonic Stables there is a modern collection, formerly of the Civic Libraries and CMF, fully placed on open shelves: all volumes and multimedial materials like DVDs are included in the computer catalog “Sebina Open Library”.
In the large, freely accessible consultation room, 30 seats are available for the reading and individual study.
