Bar Piave, managed since 1987, is a historic place along the road known as Feltrina. Sources say that even years before, something was sold in these premises, like wine or grappa.
After him, his son Attilio took over the family business in 1965, carrying it on for two years before handing it over to his daughter Mirella for the following twenty years.
The rest is recent history. "We have evolved based on what the market demanded, until we transformed into the bar we are now, allowing us to achieve many satisfactions: we work a lot with tourists from South Tyrol, Venetians for example, with passing groups, even foreign ones, we organize refreshments for weddings," continues Manfroi, "not to mention the tradition of San Martino, when we cook chestnuts but this year I think we won't do it due to the ongoing health emergency. Many things that little by little allow us to fully live the business."
