The architectural and landscape complex "Vena d'Oro" is located in a point of particular natural interest. It was built around two springs and is bordered by a park of 6 hectares, which includes majestic centuries-old trees, taking its name from the eponymous water spring, known since Roman times.
In the second half of the 19th century, Cav. Giovanni Maria Lucchetti discovered the properties of the water, which flows at a constant temperature of 7°, and bought the lands around the springs to create a hydrotherapy center with a hotel that became famous far beyond the local borders.
You can park your car at the free parking area in Sagrogna, from which the loop path begins. The route has an initial uphill stretch and mostly runs on asphalted roads, alternating with short sections on unpaved natural paths. The trail passes through picturesque rural areas such as Vena d’Oro, Roncan, Vich, Piaia, and Lastreghe, offering panoramic glimpses of the surrounding territory. Along the route, you will encounter several refreshment points, agritourisms, and farms, ideal for a food and wine stop or relaxation before returning to Sagrogna and completing the loop at the starting point.
