Casera Pal (1050 m) is located in the municipality of Chies d’Alpago, along the paved road connecting the hamlets of Pianon and Irrighe.
It is a farmhouse that offers dining and accommodation; here you can taste local dishes strictly prepared with zero-kilometer products and stay immersed in nature in complete relaxation.
Being a transit point of the Alta Via delle Dolomiti trail No.6, it is a good starting base for excursions in the Val Salatis, both in summer and winter.
It can be reached by car via a paved road and has a large parking lot. From Belluno, it can be reached by following signs to Ponte nelle Alpi and then to Alpago, continuing to Chies d’Alpago until the sign indicating the malga (about 30 km).
The malga has 60 indoor seats and offers typical dishes such as rabbit, pastin, schiz, grilled cheese, and polenta; it also has 11 beds available with the option of B&B or half board.
