On Sunday, November 16, the San Martino Concert will take place, organized by Dolomiti Symphonia, at the Cathedral of Belluno.
The audience will be able to listen to the Requiem in C minor for choir and orchestra by Luigi Cherubini, performed along with the Polifonica Benedetto Marcello of Mestre-Venice, conducted by Maestro Alessandro Toffolo. Composed in 1816 and presented for the first time at the Basilica of Saint-Denis on January 21, 1817, Cherubini's Requiem is considered one of the highest points of sacred music of the 19th century.
